The following CM/ECF events have been updated in or added to the Kansas Bankruptcy CM/ECF filing system:

 

Notice of Appearance and Request for Notice        Modified 1/12/2023

 Menu: Bankruptcy > Other and Adversary > Other

 This event was modified to allow for a pdf to be attached, or it can be a text-only entry.  Counsel’s physical address, phone number, and email address are required if the text only option is selected.

 

Request for Notice        Added 6/1/2022

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other; Bankruptcy > Change of Address; and Bankruptcy > Creditor Claimant Activity

A new event to request notice at a specific address, but not enter an appearance. It is available to both attorneys and limited creditor filers.

 

Request for Closing Information        Modified 6/1/2022

Menu: Bankruptcy > Trustee/US Trustee

This event is now a text only entry to replace the former Praecipe/Request for Court Costs.

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

A display screen has been added to remind trustee’s to use the new Request for Closing Information event.

 

Motion to Abandon        Modified 11/23/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Motions/Applications > Abandon

When a motion to abandon is filed on its own, with no other relief requested, a fee is due. However, when a motion to abandon is combined with a motion for relief from the automatic stay (which also requires a fee), only one fee is due. The motion to abandon event was modified to not charge a duplicate fee if it is combined with a motion for relief from stay.

 

Supplemental Proof of Claim for CARES Forbearance Claim (Form 4100S)        Added 7/9/21

Menu: Bankruptcy > Claim Actions

Use this event to file Form 4100S in compliance with the requirements of 11 U.S.C. 501(f)(1) if the Debtor was granted a forbearance under the CARES Act.

 

Chapter 11 Operating Report (Monthly, Small Business or SubChapter V, UST Form 425C)        Added 6/21/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

Use this event to file Chapter 11 small business and SubChapter V monthly operating reports.

 

Chapter 11 Operating Report (Monthly, UST Form 11-MOR)        Added 6/21/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

Use this event to file Chapter 11 pre-confirmation monthly operating reports.

Chapter 11 Operating Report (Quarterly, Post Confirmation, UST Form 11-PCR)        Added 6/21/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

Use this event to file Chapter 11 post-confirmation quarterly operating reports.
See the U.S.Trustee report form and instructions.

 

Operating Report        Modified 6/21/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

Use this event to file operating reports in cases that do not fit the criteria for the other specific monthly operating report events.  (i.e., Chapter 12 cases).

 

Certificate of Compliance and Motion for Entry of Discharge Pursuant to 1328(i)/CARES Act        Added 5/24/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Other

Use this event to file a certificate of compliance and motion for discharge for a debtor who qualifies under 11 USC 1328(i), which allows a discharge in qualifying cases where the debtor defaulted on residential mortgage payments.
If a motion for discharge is not requesting a special discharge under Section 1328(i), use the Certificate of Compliance and Motion for Entry of Discharge event.

 

Order for Debtor to Pay Wages       Modified 5/12/2023

The form was modified to inlude the TFS information for the debtor to electronically make the plan payments.
