CM/ECF Event Updates

The following CM/ECF events have been updated in or added to the Kansas Bankruptcy CM/ECF filing system:

Motion to Abandon        Modified 11/23/2021

Menu: Bankruptcy > Motions/Applications > Abandon

When a motion to abandon is filed on its own, with no other relief requested, a fee is due. However, when a motion to abandon is combined with a motion for relief from the automatic stay (which also requires a fee), only one fee is due. The motion to abandon event was modified to not charge a duplicate fee if it is combined with a motion for relief from stay.
