Automated Clearing House (ACH) in CM/ECF

Wednesday, August 29, 2018

Electronic filers in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Kansas filing system, CM/ECF, can now pay fees through Pay.gov using Automated Clearing House (ACH).  ACH is an electronic funds transfer system that permits payment of filing fees through direct debit from your personal or business bank account.  Check with your financial institution to be sure your account allows ACH transactions.  Pay.gov will continue to accept payments through credit card transactions.

The payment screen in Pay.gov has changed with the addition of ACH.  The top of the screen provides the ACH payment option.  Scroll down to see the Credit Card payment option.

See an example of the payment screen with both payment options. See Standing Order 18-3 for more information.
