The President has declared January 9, 2025, as a National Day of Mourning to honor the memory of former president Jimmy Carter. The U.S. Bankruptcy Clerk’s Office in Topeka and Kansas City will be closed. The Wichita office will remain open all day and hearing dockets will be held as scheduled. Any dockets scheduled for January 9 in Topeka or Kansas City will be rescheduled. Telephone assistance is available during regular business hours. All offices will resume a normal business schedule on Friday, January 10.
