Amendments to the Fed. R. Bankr. P. and Local Bankruptcy Rules take effect on December 1, 2024.  Federal amendments include the comprehensively restyled Fed. R. Bankr. P.; substantive amendments to Rules 1007, 4004, 5009, 7001, 9006; new Rule 8023.1; revisions to Bankruptcy Forms; and the abrogation of Official Form 423 (Certification about a Financial Management Course).  Local amendments conform the Local Bankruptcy Rules to the federal rules as amended, make substantive modifications, and abrogate several Standing Orders.  See the following links for details:
