On February 15, 2024, the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas issued Standing Order 24-1. It sets a presumptive interest rate to be paid on secured claims that are paid through the plan in chapter 13 cases filed on or after January 1, 2024. The Clerk of Court will calculate the rate and post it to the court's website each quarter. The presumptive interest rate applicable to chapter 13 cases filed during the first quarter of 2024 (Jan. 1 – March 31, 2024) is 6.93%.
