Multi-Part Motions     Modified 03/17/2004

 

OVERVIEW

 

This procedure explains how to docket a two-part motion. The example illustrated is a Motion for Relief from Stay and Adequate Protection.

 

PROCEDURE

 

        1. Select Bankruptcy

        2. Select Motions/Applications

        3. Enter case number and click Next

        4. Click to highlight Adequate Protection

        5. Hold down the Ctrl key and use the scroll bar move down through the list.  While still holding the Ctrl key and click on Relief from Stay

        6. Click Next

        7. Indicate if this is a joint filing with another attorney(s)

        8. Select Additional attorneys if appropriate

        9. Select or Add/Create Party

          • The Party Attorney Association screen may display.  Indicate the party you represent.

        10. Browse, verify and attach the Motion/Application (pdf file)  

          • Attach supporting documents, if applicable

        11. Is the motion a request for court approval of a stipulated agreement (y/n)? Specify and click Next.

        12. If No above, Make sure the Receipt number field is blank for credit card payments and click Next.

        13. Modify docket text as appropriate

 

WARNING: Verify filing entry information is correct before submitting the Final Docket Text.
