Certificate of Compliance and Motion for Entry of Discharge      Modified 11/04/2006

 

OVERVIEW

 

This event will be filed by the debtor/debtor counsel.  It will provide a Certification that the no discharge related issues exist and that the debtor is eligible for discharge.  The event also sets a Notice of Objection Deadline (minimum 30 days notice) for any objections and schedules the corresponding objection deadline.

 

PROCEDURE

 

        1. Select Bankruptcy

        2. Select Other

        3. Enter case number and click Next

        4. Verify correct case number and caption

        5. Select Certificate of Compliance and Motion for Entry of Discharge

        1. Indicate if this is a joint filing with another attorney(s)

        2. Select Additional attorneys if appropriate

        1. Select Party or Add/Create Party

          • The Party Attorney Association screen may display.  Indicate the party you represent.

        1. Browse, verify and attach the Motion/Application (pdf file)  

          • Attach supporting documents, if applicable.

        1. Enter the Objection due date,  Proposed Hearing Date, and Proposed Hearing Time, Certificate of Service Date and click Next.

        2. Modify docket text as appropriate
