The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas proudly presents, A Conversation with Federal Judges. The purpose of this event is to give local attorneys, who are members of the federal bar in Kansas, an opportunity to get acquainted with our federal judges and to provide a forum to discuss issues of importance to the bar. Complimentary CLE credit will be available to attorneys admitted to the bar in Kansas and Missouri.
BAP General Order No. 4
On September 29, 2009 the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Tenth Circuit (“BAP”) entered General Order No. 4. The General Order announces that the BAP is conducting a one-year pilot program utilizing the services of the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Mediation Office. Appeals filed with the BAP on or after October 1, 2009 may be subject to review by a panel of BAP Judges for referral to the Mediation Office.
